Smoked Garlic Mash

It’s Halloween this month so we’re warding off witches and warlocks with a healthy dose of garlic.  We love smoked garlic from Besmoke, an East Sussex-based business specialising in naturally smoked products.  Team this marvellous mash with free-range pork sausages from our deli counter for a deliciously fuss-free supper.

 

  1. Gently roast a whole bulb of Besmoke smoked garlic wrapped in foil for around 40 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile cook some floury potatoes in boiling water, drain well and mash with butter, milk and seasoning.
  3. Carefully peel the cloves of the roasted smoked garlic and mash into the potatoes.
